Amend the First Amendment of the Bill of Rights, adding the words “a wall of separation between Church and State.

Created by B.B. on September 28, 2011

The Fist Amendment of the Bill of Rights does not have the words "separation between church and state in it. This phrase should be added to state state: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, building a wall of separation between Church and State, or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."

"Believing that religion is a matter which lies solely between Man, His Worship and his God, our founding fathers understood that in order to keep the government out of religion, we must keep religion out of government. You cannot have one without the other.
