Amend the G I Bill giving veterans college credit for skills acquired while in service.

Created by S.S. on October 27, 2011

Our veterans are able to fill jobs using the skills they learned while in service. The technology they used in wars in Afghanistan and Iraq enable them to work various industries. Their ability to work independently, adjust to situations quickly and work around the clock makes them valuable to a multitude of jobs which require college and advanced degrees.
Veterans should receive college credit based on their qualifications which would enable them to get their degree in less than 4 years.
This not only helps the huge problem of veteran unemployment, it gives the country valuable workers who have served this country admirably.
