HR 347, or the "Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act of 2011", is a dangerous bill that could be misused by law enforcement to limit free speech rights of American citizens.
Specifically, the language is far too ambiguous. We demand that Congress amend HR 347, to provide clearer language as to what constitutes "disruptions"; and to ensure that reasonable, peaceful protests, at "National Security Special Events" and around the Secret Service, will not be deemed a felony.
It is important that our right to free speech and peaceful assembly not be infringed on, even in the slightest manner. Re-write the bill to make sure that one cannot be jailed for exercising this right.
