Amend laws governing child pornography to hold PNP websites accountable for distribution vs condemning mere possessors

Created by V.R. on May 04, 2013

The current laws which govern penalties for possession of child pornography are ineffective in reducing the amount of CP content available on the internet, and do nothing to hold accountable, the websites which allow the CP content to flow through it. Instead, those who "stumble upon" this content because these websites allow it to exist, are arrested and unfairly prosecuted and convicted as sexual predators; forever unjustly labeling them as such.

I am petitioning the government to do what is right and investigate , prosecute and harshly penalize the offending websites for distributing child porn and to lessen the penalties from felony to misdemeanor for nonviolent, first time child porn possession offenders, as the current penalties are too extreme and unfair
