Immediately amend the pensions of the U.S. Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives to be in line with other Federal Employees of similar pay level and years of service. In addition, alter the Health Benefits of Senators and Congressmen to the exact system that GS employees enjoy. In this way, those who govern can do so from a place of understanding those who are governed. Additionally, reductions in the budget deficit will be a very welcome benefit.
