Amending leosa to include correctional officers will help protect the officer and his family from dangerous inmates or gang members whom wish to do them harm. leosa only allows carrying off duty for sworn LEOS or anyone with the powers of arrest, i believe giving all CO's powers of arrest while on duty will ultimately help all law enforcement nation wide.
