I have found that certain professions which require degrees, special training and lifelong training sometimes pay as little as $10 an hour. I believe that if you are required to get a college degree or train in a professional training program in order to do a certain job then you should have a minimum wage law which observes that training. Many people wind up with mounds of student loan debt to work in a field which requires that training only to make less than an unskilled employee. I say it's time to make a minimum wage for those who put forth the time and effort to train for those positions. A skilled worker should have a minimum wage twice the amount of an unskilled worker.
