Currently Social Security insurance is adequately funded to pay full benefits for about 25 more years. The government does an excellent job of making payments promptly at low cost. The system will be even more viable with additional money and people with higher salaries should pay their fair share. Raising the amount of salary used as a base would accomplish this end.
