Multinational Corporations and their subsidiaries shall not spend money to elect, or defeat candidates for political office in the United States, because they are located in multiple countries, and represent the interests those other countries.
The Supreme Court recently ruled that the First Amendment, free speech person-hood rights now covers corporations, allowing them to spend unlimited amounts of money on political campaigns. This petition clarifies that the First Amendment only covers United States National and State Corporations, and NOT Multinational Corporations and their subsidiaries.
