Petition to amend the US Tax code to allow for deductions for travel expenses going to and from work locations. Presently, law allows for only travel to work, not the return trip home. After working 14 days away from home, and then facing a 6 hour drive back home, a person incurs significant expense for mileage, and also for a meal. This seems like a legitimate expense that should be deductible.
