Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 was a very good start for addressing the needs of the disenfranchised in a civil society.
Pockets of our nation have since moved forward and afforded increased civil rights within their communities. This is not reflective of a United States of America. Civil rights should not be based on geography nor should they be addressed on a piecemeal basis.
Each American should enjoy each right equally and feel safe in knowing that the American government has her/his back no matter their difference, ability, or station in life - we are all equal Americans and should be afforded the same rights and responsibilities accordingly.
Please join the quest for equal playing fields for every American citizen and help make unequal civil rights a thing of our past.
