In Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, it declares that discrimination based off of an individual's race, color, religion, sex, or national origin is unlawful. This list does not include sexual orientation, and as of now it is lawful in 28 states to be fired from one's place of employment on the basis of one's sexual orientation. Sign this petition to urge the U.S. government to change the discrimination law to include sexual orientation.
