Amend the William Wilberforce Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2008 to return all illegal minors immediately with all haste.
The law passed with good intentions has unintended consequences:
Over 1,000 unaccompanied minors are crossing our border with the goal of permanently staying our current laws (with the exception of Mexican children who are immediately deported) allows this.
Now 70% of our border agents are glorified baby sitters and can't do their job
Young illegals report horrific abuse at the hands of immigrant smugglers, including raped, physical assault, murder, and forced slave labor to 'pay off' the costs of transportation (moving a 13 year old from Honduras to the US is said to cost $9,000, far more than the average Honduran family makes in a year.
