It is time to ban all guns for civilians through amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Our laws enabled an otherwise harmless, skinny kid with Asperger’s to live out his wildest video game dreams and massacre school rooms full of children with legally obtained pistols and rifles. With a gun ban, he would have just been another quiet and meek kid playing Xbox at home. Instead, he was enabled to become a powerful and horrific monster. I’m scared to raise a daughter in a place where every day could bring a new tragedy. Things have to change. Now.
