Amend the US Constitution to Eliminate Consecutive Congressional and Executive Terms of Office

Amend the US Constitution as follows:
1. No elected members of the Executive or Legislative branches of the US Government can serve two consecutive terms in office, i.e., once elected they can only serve one-term.
2.Terms for the President and Vice-President will be extended to six years.
3. Terms for members of the House of Representatives will be extended from two years to six years.
4. Terms for members of the Senate will remain at six years.
6. Elections will be held each two years with one-third of the House and Senate membership standing for election each two years.
7. Members may be elected to the House and Senate after serving one term only if they have been out of office for one full term (six years) regardless of the district in the state of election that they represent.
