Amend the U.S. Constitution to recognize same-sex marriage.

Created by B.W. on November 12, 2012

Amend the U.S. Constitution to allow for same-sex marriage. If recognized at the federal level, married same-sex couples will get the same tax benefits as other married couples. Visitation rights should also be respected in all states. Two free and consenting adults should be able to marry who they love, no matter their gender. The President has expressed his support for marriage equality, but only at the state level. Mr. President, push Congress to pass this at the federal level and sign it into law.
