Our current flag code needs to be changed concerning when to fly the flag at half-staff.
With the current situation of our Country and the World it is possible that in the near future our Flag will never be raised to the top of the staff.
Lowering the flag, no longer represents respect to the memory of our lost ones but acknowledges the evil in this World. Every time the flag is at half-staff it signifies that a part of our family was taken from us. The Flag Code should be changed that would mandate that the United States Flag shall fly at full-staff and only on Memorial Day shall it be lowered to half-staff.
