Amending the Minimum wage and hour law.

Created by E.M. on March 15, 2013

We would like to have the minimum wage and hour laws revised, requiring any business's highest compensated executive/employee to be limited to 200 times the total compensated of the lowest paid full time employee.

This would not limit executive or employee earning potential, but it would require that any bonuses, profits, or other type of compensation be dispersed throughout all levels of the corporation.

For example, if the compensation of the lowest full-time employee is $30,000/year the total compensation of the highest paid executives or employee would be limited to $6 million. In order for the highest paid individual to compensated at a higher rate, the lowest paid full-time employee would in turn need an increase in compensation. (ie. $40,000 lowest paid = $8 Million highest paid)
