Propose an amendment to the constitution to do away with the presidential primaries, and the electoral college. Replacing them with an instant runoff ballot.
This will allow an honest election where extreme veering to the right or left to gain primary votes is not needed, and eliminates the threat of third parties spoiling the election while still giving people the chance to voice there convictions.
