Amendment establishing a 50 % tax on all campaign contributions to be allocated to charities, chosen by popular vote.

Created by J.R. on November 28, 2012

The Combined contributions raised by the presidential campaigns was an estimated 1,815,000,000 dollars, it is ignorant and insulting to suggest that amount of money is better spent on television ads while roughly 46.2 million Americans are living in poverty. I suggest an amendment forcing campaigns (whether national or local) to pay 50 % tax on all contributions to be allocated to charities by popular vote.
