1. No Tenure / No Pension.
All members of Congress collect a salary while in session and receive no pay when they are out of office. To be elected to serve is a privilege and all elected officials have another source of income.

2. All members of Congress (past, present & future) participate in Social Security.
All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into The Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.

3. Members of Congress may elect to purchase their own individual 401 or IRA retirement plan, just as all Americans do.

4. Members of Congress and Senators will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Their pay will rise by the lower of
