Corporations enjoy the same freedoms are individuals with a pulse under our Bill of Rights, yet those firms suffer no penalties when they violate our laws, such as imprisonment or death when a roadside bomb explodes in Afghanistan. If companies are "people," without being subjected to the same range of penalties for violations of the law, the justice system is not equal, which violates multiple basic principles of our Constitution.
