America was the clear dominant force in the world both in terms of military power and economic prowess. But in the wake of the recent financial turmoil and economic struggle, the U.S. has lost its economic credibility in the international community and people going as far as to suggest abandoning the dollar as the world currency. The international status and pride of the United States of America have been jeopardized.
I believe going back to the basics is the course of action for America to rebuild its image and stimulate the economy. The steel industry, long overlooked by the U.S. is the way for the U.S. to recapture its position as the most dominant economic force. Steel is the backbone of the economy required by many industrial sectors.
