We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

American Due Process: A call for law enforcement reform.

Created by J.L. on October 24, 2016

We the people of these United States hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men and women are created equal, that they are endowed by their Constitution with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

This is a call for law enforcement reforms to ensure these rights for all Americans. In 2016 as of today Oct. 24th we have seen approximately 776 people shot and killed by police, and approximately 102 officers killed in the line of duty. We feel these numbers indicate an infringement on our Fourteenth Amendment and Bill of Rights liberties.

We are calling on congress to help push for reforms to encourage de-escalation of encounters and training to help avoid the need and subsequent use of lethal force to resolve conflict.
