Children in America have grown up hearing that America is a melting pot but we only learn one culture's history in our regular social studies classes. It is not fair nor is it right to the other cultures to be ignored in our history books. Minorities have made a humongous impact on American culture and it would only be justice for our history to be included in American history. This would further help our children to grow up with the mentality of equality and tolerance for other cultures.
