The President, Congress members, and many government economists have said the Sequester is stupid. To enact stupid legislation is not why our officials are elected.
Since the elections of 2010, there has been one government crisis after another. It is an embarrassment that our elected officials cannot agree on legislation.
Until a budget is passed that addresses long term debt, encourages full employment, reforms taxes closing loopholes that give advantages to a select few at the expense of the many, gives fair health care, safety nets for disadvantaged, and prevents future budget crises, the American People should not pay or provide government services to any federal elected officials.
The services withheld should not include services needed for the health and safety of the officials.
