Are we really helping a person with mental distress by locking them up and administering mind controlling drugs that cause extreme depression and zoned out feelings??? People with suicidal ideations are being put in this so called therapeutic environment.. They are told to strip down and given gowns that don't even cover your entire bodies, forced to rooms with complete stranger roomates, forced to take mass amounts of medications that cause very low concentration levels, high anxiety levels and put on complete obversation and judged on how well they complete their daily activities of living, which is extremely difficult to do after being terrified into locked up wards where the staff takes other members of their families opinion for granted without even speaking to the persons at stake.
