AMERICAN VOTERS WEEKEND: Bringing Democracy Into The 21st Century (& Pushing Back At The Vote-Squashers)

Created by T.J. on October 17, 2011

We vote on Tuesdays so that all the rural folk have the full day it takes to ride their horses over the plains, vote, rest up, dust off, and take another day and maybe night to ride home, all without having to miss their religious day back at the ranch.

Tuesday voting has not been updated now that we travel in planes (not on plains) because some in government and/or big business want as few Americans to vote as possible (we see this in new voter ID laws, shortened early voting, etc), and they know we are busy during the week.

President Obama, push back on the anti-voting powers-that-be by bringing the American vote into the 21st century- just as what once was a mere blackberry bush on the dusty road to town is now 'the Blackberry', make voting 'The Vote: 24 hours a Saturday'.
