Community service is not a justifiable punishment for rape of a minor or a person with a disability. To many times judges have sentenced sexual predators to house arrest or community service for rape and sexual assault of persons under 5 and persons with disabilities. The decision of leniency should not be on the family it should be in the law. They can't say how they feel about what happened to them. They are suffering in silence.
