Section 1 of the 14th Amendment states: "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside...."
Change to limit the "PRIVILIGE" of citizenship to those who are born to parents who have themselves exercised steps to be awarded citizenship or are in the proper and legal status as petitioned and documented "Legal Residents" while denying citizenship simply by birth in the USA.
NON CITIZEN PARENTS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED DEFACTO CITIZENSHIP STATUS BY AWARDING IT TO THEIR OFFSPRING.
No other nation allows this - time for us too.
Rule of Nature and Law should prevail - if you are a citizen, then your child may be born a citizen - otherwise there is no entitlement to citizenship.
