ammend the 2nd ammendment to the constititution of the United States of America adding, "excluding assualt weapons"

No citizen of these United States should be allowed to purchase or otherwise own a weapon designed to allow discharge of projectiles utilizing a clip, creating the ability to simply squeeze the trigger again and again until the clip is emptied. These types of weapons are identified as semi automatic weapons and have no place in a civilian society. Further more, any hand gun that fires similiarly using a clip and allowing the trigger to be squeezed to fire and reload the weapon repeatedly, known as semi automatic is hereby banned from possession or ownership by civilians. A list of weapons included in this ban will be specifically identify weapons banned from ownership by civilians.
