This petition is to propose the outlaw or severe restriction of the manufacture and purchase of ammunition which fits assault style weapons such as the Bushmaster and make it illegal to retool assault style weapons to accept a different type of ammunition. Since this does not restrict the sale and ownership of assault weapons it would not be a violation of the second amendment rights to bear arms.
