We think everyone in the US should commit to stopping animal abuse in this country immediately. Animals feel physical pain and emotions just as humans do and deserve the respect of being treated well. We should treat animals just like you want to be treated. Animals can’t do anything about the fact that many of them are are abused and not all animals can fight back against their abusers. Even those that can, don’t succeed all the time. These animals cannot speak for themselves, so it is up to us to speak for them. Their pain is real and they must be protected by those of us who can do it. Abusing animals is like abusing a human being, and as we would not tolerate millions of Americans being abused without saying something, neither should we allow this animal abuse to go on in silence.
