Some raids use a seizer warrant signed by the Justice of the Peace that's been told there are abused animals. Often NO WARRANT is used as animal activist increasingly brazen. The ideal raid takes place when the owners are not home. The simple break in, search and ransack the home and property, then seize the animal's. Often animal related items such as a dog or cat carrier seems to of disappear from the premises. Raids are usually well planned and often more then one animal control facility will be involved. Often the owner has no idea they are even in trouble, we didn't. The director of the humane society even admitted under oath that they did not have a prior file to the raid.
