It is time to announce a new round of sanctions against Russia for its support of terrorism in Ukraine. Russia stepped up its direct involvement and material help to terrorists and separatists fighters in Eastern Ukraine. Beyond any doubts is a fact that a majority of fighters are coming from Russia, and the Russian government supplies them with modern weaponry including tanks and anti-aircraft missiles that brought this crisis to a whole new level. At the same time, Russian bombers are again flying near California and Alaska.
Our response to Russian aggression should be strong, united and solid. It is time to announce sanctions that will strongly affect Russian economy.
