Annual Purge event on March 21st

I think if we have one night a year from 8pm to 8am all crime would be legal for 12 continues hours. Police, fire and emergency services would be unavailable. All government officials are protected and shall not be harmed. It should be held yearly. Like based on the movie. It would reduce crime and unemployment as well as poverty. This would be good for america. However let the government decide as to the rules and participation as well as all the details as to what and what is not allowed .
