answer its correspondence

Created by C.R. on October 17, 2011

Thousands of Americans write the White House every day. On the White House contact page, there is a check box to indicate if one wants an answer. Checking the box does not result in receiving a reply. The President reads ten of the 75,000 letters each day. He may answer all 10 he reads. That is good, but with a $3.3 trillion a year budget, it is neither efficient nor effective. Any corporation that only answered 10 of its customers every day when hearing from 100,000 would be put out of business. When Americans write the White House, one presumes it is not to be ignored.
