We the people who have signed this petition demand an answer to the petition "Allow Industrial Hemp to be Grown in the US Once Again". The original petition reached the threshold long before 10/22/11, and there has still been no response. Every other petition that has reached the threshold from that time has been answered. Why not this one?
Industrial Hemp's prohibition is extremely political and has no place in our modern world. Hemp can be used for textiles, paper, food, concrete, and even biodiesel! Moreover, Hemp is not a psychoactive drug, it is merely a relative of Cannabis.
