Answer publicly to the killing of 16 year old abdulrahman al-awlaki.

Created by B.P. on March 11, 2013

Abdulrahman al-awlaki was a 16 year old American citizen killed by a drone strike in Yemen in 2011. Various news outlets, including a recent New York Times article, have quoted several high ranking White House officials about the killing of Americans. Why is the killing of an innocent 16 year old boy considered a state secret? If former white house press secretary Robert Gibbs has publicly rationalized the killing because Abdulraham "should have a far more responsible father" how can the administration justify its actions? If it was an accidental strike, why not inform the public? Why does this administration allow high ranking officials to discuss the top secret killing of Americans with friendly reporters, but then stone wall any attempts by the public to learn what is going on?
