Every time that the president has solicited questions online, the subject of Marijuana has received substantial attention from respondents, but when it comes time to give the answer, the President makes a joke or gives a non-answer. Why do you continue to ask us for our opinions and then sneer at us when you get them?
Why are we putting people in jail for making choices about marijuana that the last three presidents have made themselves? 55% of our nation's prison population is in for drug-related offenses and the vast majority of these people are there for possession of a substance that you yourself admit to having used "frequently" in your youth.
The money spent on private prisons and drug raids could be better spent on infrastructure improvement and job creation. If not now, when?
