Answer why Congresses pay was not cut by the Sequester.

We The People want an honest and bipartisan answer as to why pay or perks for members of Congress, were not cut by the Sequester; before it effected Senior Citizens, and those on Food Stamps.
We want to know why, if Congress really wants to reduce the deficit an Amendment was never introduced to suggest cutting their pay or perks during the Sequester.
We want to know what the President and Congress are going to do to remedy this immediately? We are impatiently waiting for your answers!
