Anti-Drunk Drivers Act: Require harsher punishments for first time offenders.

Created by D.S. on January 18, 2013

With current gun rights laws in many states, if violated would result in the perpetrator losing his/her gun rights for their whole life.

Yet, drunk driving deaths involve repeat offenders. This act would require individuals who purchase automobiles to go through a similar background check as an individual operating a motor vehicle.

Punishment for DUI/DWI under this act would also require strict mandatory prison time, and mandatory alcoholism education after the 1st offense. With increasing prison term for the 2nd offense, and minimum 10 year punishment for 3rd offense.

If we care so much about all the firearm related deaths in the United States, we should care about all the lives taken from alcohol related accidents.
