Antoinette Tuff used nothing but courage, love and compassion when facing what were likely the most terrifying moments of her life. There were just under 900 children in that school, with enough ammunition to take the lives of more than half of them, staring right at her. She didn't freeze. She didn't run. She didn't react with a weapon or in a violent manner, in any way. No one was scratched. Not even the gunman. This is one of the greatest examples of heroism and selflessness that we have ever witnessed as a society, at least during my time We must honor this woman and hope to learn from her and the situation itself. We have a lot of work to do and she took the first step in showing us that we can become a more perfect union. Thank YOU, Antoinette!
