Antonio Villaraigosa has not been a successful mayor to Los Angeles. The city has very high unemployment and the city government delivers a poor quaility of service to it's citizen. Beyond his overall performance the city has very poor transportaion and the worst traffic in the nation which has not improved during his time in office. He should not be rewarded for his poor performance over all and his specific failures in the area of transportaion should disqualify him from this appointment.
