Any time there is a deficit of more than 3% of GDP, all sitting members of Congress are ineligible for re-election

This will make sitting Congress members think long and hard before engaging in frivolous spending because their jobs will be at stake, as well as there future in politics. Our deficit as well as spendingis out of control. This is because the incumbent re-election rate is 90% while there approval rate is only about 9%. Talk about job security! No wonder Congress has no problem spending money on anything they want because there are no consequences for their actions. LET'S HOLD CONGRESS ACOUNTABLE.
