AOT laws should be enforced in all States. Innocent children are dying at the hands of mad men. The mentally ill should be involuntarily committed who are not accepting treatment or responding to treatment. Adam Lanza killed innocent children at Sandy Hooks Elementary School. There were screams in the elementary school as the shooter blasted through the glass of Sandy Hooks Elementary School. Statistcs show that the severly mentally ill are commiting violent crimes. Fifty percent of the mentally ill population has a substance abuse problem. The drug most frequently used is alcohol followed by cocaine and marijuna. Other prescription drugs such as sleeping medicines and tranquilizers are also being abused. These people are being locked up for their crimes but prison is not the answer.
