Apologize to the 350,000+ Lavabit Webmail users deprived of their data due to the NSA's domestic spying program.

on August 6th, 350,000 Lavabit Webmail users lost access to their email and the data stored in their emails. This was the result of a lawsuit the U.S. government has brought against Lavabit demanding the surrender of our data to the NSA. Although many Lavabit users, including myself, simply enjoy (enjoyed, now) the security afforded by such services without needing it for nefarious activities, the service was shamelessly attacked in the name of national security. This show of force only draws skepticism of yourselves and sympathy for Edward Snowden. Lavabit users deserve at least an apology, and Lavabit's principled founder, Lavar Levison, deserves the right to truthfully speak about the circumstances.
