When Texas State Senator Wendy Davis (D) decided to fillibuster a piece of legislation that is supported overwhelmingly by the good people of Texas, President Obama made a point (via twitter) to let the country know that he was watching and that it was "special". I don't ever expect him to understand how evil one must be to think that blocking legislation that would result in healthier children and mothers is "special" but it is not too much to ask that he apologize for involving himself in an issue that applied only to Texas and also to vow that he will not insert himself in other state or local issues.
