The official plane of Bolivian President Evo Morales, was rerouted to Austria on Tuesday after France and Portugal refused to let it cross their airspace because of suspicions that NSA leaker Edward Snowden was on board. The no-fly proclamations by a number of European governments were directly ordered by the US. government in its continuing witchhunt for NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden.
These actions have embarrassed all U.S. citizens everywhere and are in violation of dozens of international treaties and laws.
The Obama administration should immediately issue an official public apology for this embarrassing incident in the world press and take steps to ensure such actions are never repeated.
