President Obama and his administration only made statements that were supportive of Michael Brown and no statements supportive of Officer Darren Wilson. The implication of these statements was that Michael Brown was targeted because of his race. One can only infer that Office Darrel Wilson as a racist.
President Obama’s involvement influenced the expectations of the people of Ferguson and of the country as a whole. He set the expectation that Officer Darren Wilson was at fault and that an indictment would follow. When that expectation was not realized violence erupted. President Obama and his administration should admit that their actions led to this violence and apologize.
